Belated

I rediscovered a Holga photo I never posted. My lens broke after I took this first photo, so the rest of the roll was depressing and blurry. I was at Alum Creek Beach in a sudden downpour when I took this one, hence the foggy lens.

I also had some film developed from my juice box camera and then completely forgot about it until I found it on my desktop today.

Plastic Summer

God, I'd love to go back to California. Columbus ain't so bad, though.

The Crew

I had the fantastic idea of taking portraits of the You're Next crew...but for once a light leak wasn't good to me. I lost a lot of the photos I was really excited about, but that's what happens when you trust in a camera made out of plastic. Here are a few favorites though.

Half Light

My poor Holga. I've dropped it so many times that the focus ring is stuck and the back has a tendency to fall off. It's gotten to the point that no amount of gaffer's tape can control the light leaks, but I think it's endearing (if a camera can be endearing).

And somehow, these last few turned out alright. 

Black and White Winter

For some reason I can only shoot black and white film during winter. I also haven't shot any black and white with my Holga since I was a freshman (the results were atrocious), so I decided to give it another chance. These are pretty much untouched in photoshop.
