Gobble, Gobble...

Thanksgiving Break is a beautiful thing, my friend. I finally get a bit of time to go through some of my final project photos, take pictures (FOR FUN!) and sleep. Mmm...

Briefly: Carol is raising two children, Nick and Nora. They try to live as green as possible; they ride their bikes whenever possible, and hang clothing up to dry. They eat organic, and try to support the local economy by avoiding shopping at places like Wal-Mart. I am really enjoying working with Carol and their family...I would even say I'm inspired. She is just...cool. Haha...I suppose that is the best way to describe it.

Some of these are pretty similar, but keep in mind that I am far from a final edit. I am kicking myself for not starting this project in early October, because now the weather is too bad for me to capture some key moments. I REALLY want a photo of some biking because Carol and her family are very dedicated to living green, but I guess I will see how everything works out.

I would love some input!

I love this, but it's kind of hard to tell what is going on when it is just her by herself. I just enjoy the framing I guess.

This one? Or this one? We went to her mother-in-law's ALPACA FARM. It was great.

Well, that is enough from me. Have a happy Thanksgiving everyone!

You have a lot of great, quality shots. Living green is such a beautiful thing. I am also an eco-consious person who tries to live the green lifestyle as well as I can. I'm not sure what the assignment is but if that is your main focus, then keep at it. Capture them composting and, like you said, biking.

Great job so far.

These are all really good.

Of the ones where you ask which one, I think the one where her back is to you is the best one of those two.

These are lovely. I especially like the ones at the alpaca farm, and I agree that the one of her back is better. (I think the way her hands are folded make her look like a fighter.)

I really like numbers 4, 6 and 7. We see a lot of her face, so the one with her standing and gazing at the alpacas does more for me. The facial expression with the daughter is great, and I really dig the framing on the one with them doing stuff in the trunk. It looks like you're going to have a great project. Just curious, how do they look in color?
