Happy Birthdays
Last night was the lovely Eve Edelheit's 22nd birthday, and it was wonderful. Lots of good friends in one place, plus CAKE. Also...I got a new lens (it's my camera's birthday, too), so humor me while I play with depth of field and shoot only f/1.4 for a month. Not the best photos, but it's alright. Sometimes you have to shoot for memories, too.

Couldn't hold off for the 35mm f/1.4 II, eh? Enjoy it--it's still a very fun lens. And I wish I could have been there for Eve's birthday!
